She Sells Seychelles By the Seashore

Hidden waterfalls, picturesque beaches, fresh seafood and unlimited views. These are just a few ways to describe the beautiful islands of Seychelles. There are about 115 different islands in Seychelles most of which are uninhabited and dedicated as nature reserves. But the islands that are habitable display some of the most exotic beaches in the world. I recommend renting a car for the day and creating your own itinerary to explore the main island.

For those of you that visited London, this clock tower may look very familiar. This is known as “Little Big Ben”, which sits in the middle of one of the main centres in Victoria. This small city is the capitol of Seychelles and even though there are only two dozen streets and just 2 traffic lights, it has something to offer everyone. The best times to enjoy the city is in the morning around 8am or in the evening around 4pm. I would highly recommend a day trip throughout the city because aside from the great restaurants and markets, they also have a great national museum and a colorful Hindu temple in the heart of the town.

One thing that I love to do when I’m in a new destination is get lost, it’s the best way to get the lay of the land. This hidden gem was such a treat because my wife and I stumbled across it by accident. There are plenty of great photo angles and they even have a huge rock that you can jump off into the water. Sauzier waterfall is about a 20 min walk from Constance Ephelia Resort and trust me when I say this is a must see.

For my trill seekers, I highly recommend that you set aside some time for Beau Vallon beach. There is lots to do, from relaxing on the beach to having a wide variety of water sports to choose from. Whatever your in the mood for I guarantee this beach will have the answer for you. Our hotel was about a 20 min walk from the beach so we made it a routine to visit at least once a day throughout our trip. When it comes to eateries around the beach I would have to recommend “Famous Resto- Bar” and “Baobab Pizzeria” they both had alot to choose from and the food was amazing.
