Dubai is known for creating some of the biggest and best man made structures in the world. From the “Palm Jumeirah” to the “Burj Khalifa”, this city continues to thrive and look for the next best thing to construct. During my travels, I got a chance to visit the largest mall in the world (Dubai Mall) which had around 1,200 stores. I also explored the worlds tallest building (Burj Khalifa) which stands at a whopping 2,722 ft. The highlight of my trip was getting a chance to ride 4 Wheeler’s out in the middle of the dessert, it was such an adrenaline rush. Dubai is definitely on my top 5 best places traveled.
Out in the middle of Al Aweer Desert, I had such an amazing time. My wife and I booked this all day tour that included camel riding, 4×4’s, and a nice Dinner/ Belly Dancing show to cap it all off. I highly recommend you take some time and book something similar to this tour. At the time I paid about $150 for me and my wife, which included round-trip transfer. This was the perfect opportunity to explore the outskirts of the city.
The Burj Al Arab is Dubai’s most iconic hotel. This sits at the top when you speak of luxury hotels. The average cost of a suite could be north of $24,000. Now if that is to rich for your budget, then you can still come to the hotel and enjoy a nice lunch with a view. Prices for lunch can run about $125 for adults and $60 for children (Prices may vary). Now you may not get a chance to say that you stayed the night in this hotel, but you can tell all your friends that you enjoyed an exotic lunch.
The the Burj Khalifa is the tallest building in the world and if you visit Dubai, then this is a must see. The levels that are accessible to tourists are 124, 125 & 148. It all depends on how much you are willing to pay to enjoy the view. The observation deck gives you the opportunity to see spectacular views of the “City Of Gold”. This is an amazing attraction.
