Question: How are you documenting your trips?

Answer: I have a blog www.cheikhmyworld.com

My travels are also tracked on Instagram with the highlights that are pinned on my profile. I also produce IGTV videos in the form of a vlog to retrace all or part of my travels.

Question: What is the most enlightening thing your travels have taught you?

Answer: The first thing that traveling has taught me is humility. Respect for all cultures, traditions that I had to meet.

Question: What’s the most entertaining story you have about getting lost?

Answer: The time I had an anxiety attack in the turtle pond at Nungwi in Zanzibar.

Question: Have you ever been scammed outside the country?

AnswerNot really. I always inquire about prices before going to a country. Friends may have been there before me. Except once in Thailand where we were offered a price well above the standard for a trip. But it was nothing serious.

Question: What’s the scariest thing that’s happened to you while traveling?

Answer: When I almost ended up in prison in Kenya because I was taking pictures in a mall.
